Necedah is right between the fourth and second largest lakes in Wisconsin, Castle Rock Lake & Lake Petenwell. The lakes provide great recreation, fishing, and relaxation.  

We are home to the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, Buckhorn State Park, and Wilderness County Park.  We also have Castle Rock County Park, and Petenwell county park in the area.

We have an abundance of wild Lupen, which is why we have more Blue Karner Butterflies than any other place in the world!
